How I adapt my training when I have less time (or less motivation)

Cómo adapto mi entreno cuando tengo menos tiempo (o menos ganas)

Hi girls!

I know I’ve said this plenty of times, but I find this topic really interesting — especially given the kind of lives we lead these days. We’re running from one place to another, and it’s so hard to carve out time for ourselves, some weeks and some days more than others…

That’s why I have my golden rule: put on your workout gear, pull on your leggings, and there’s no turning back. That’s how I find the motivation on the days I wake up without it…

That said, I think it’s essential to listen to our bodies. Don’t force it every single time… some days are better than others, and sometimes resting is what matters. Because rest is part of wellness and self-care, too.

On the days when training feels especially hard or I’m short on time, I go for short workouts. Twenty minutes is often enough to move and feel switched on. Twenty minutes is always better than nothing.

So, to sum up: don’t push yourself too hard if you truly need to rest; if you feel you can give a little more, put on your leggings and don’t look back; and above all, match the length and intensity of your workout to how your body feels.

I hope you’re enjoying this return to the blog that I missed so much.

See you soon!
